The Temporary Foreign Worker Program (TFWP) allows Canadian employers speak to foreign nationals to fill labour shortages in Canada. Before employers are able speak to foreign nationals, they must obtain a permission from the government called a Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA). After which, the foreign national must obtain a temporary work permit to allow them to travel to Canada. We are able to help employers with obtaining a positive LMIA, and afterwards helping foreign nationals obtain Work Permits.
A Study Permit is a document issued by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) that allows a foreign national to study in Canada for a limited time. Most international students require a Study Permit to study in Canada. To be eligible for a study permit, a prospective student must: 1) Obtain a Letter of Acceptance from a college or university in Canada, and (2) Prove that he or she has sufficient financial support to cover the first year of tuition, as well as living expenses and return transportation to his or her home country.
An attractive feature of Study Permits is that an applicant may include his or her family members on the application, so that they may accompany the applicant to Canada. In addition, an accompanying spouse may be able to obtain an Open Work Permit, and minor children may be able to study at Canadian elementary and secondary schools.
